Call for abstracts for the APHMG 2025 Meeting!

APHMG invites you to submit an abstract for the Annual Meeting.  We welcome submissions from people involved in any of the Special Interest Groups or the general membership.

Who Can Submit

  • APHMG members and Trainees are encouraged to submit abstracts.  
  • Non-members may also submit proposals for consideration.  
  • If your proposal is accepted for session presentation, you must agree to attend in person to present your work.

Submission Instructions

Please submit your poster abstract of up to 400 words using the form link above.  Enter all required fields and be sure to click on SUBMIT to complete your submission. 

Editing Your Abstract

Note that once submitted, you will be able to return to the site and login at any time prior to the deadline to edit your abstract. We strongly recommend starting your submission EARLY since we are using a NEW SYSTEM this year.

Abstract Format

Suggested abstract format based on Glassick's criteria for scholarship in teaching and learning:

  • Purpose 
  • Background 
  • Methods
  • Results 
  • Discussion/Conclusions 

Poster Format

  • 4'x6' maximum size poster
  • Poster will be taped to the ballroom walls (low-tack tape)
  • Please do NOT laminate your poster, as it will not stay on the wall if it is heavy coated and/or curled

December 1 - Abstract & Travel Grant submissions open
February 21 - Abstract Deadline extended
February 28 - Notifications of regular abstract acceptances
March 7 - Early Registration rates end
March 8 - Regular rates begin

March 21 - Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Deadline

March 24 - Late-Breaking Abstract Notifications
